October 		  On the 18th-21st October 2009 the XXXV International Conference and Exhibition PIKE 2009 was held near Rawa Mazowiecka, under the patronage of Manuel Kohnstamm – the Chairman of the Cable Europe. Dr. Marek Bukowski, Partner of the Law Office, was invited to lead the panel on “Copyright law in Europe – the zone of light and darkness”, during the first day of the conference.
   

September 		  First place award for our Law Office in the best web page contest! 

We are pleased to inform You that our Law office has received a first place award for the best law office web page granted by the Chairman of the KRRP. Among 60 web pages that were submitted our website according to the jury has differentiated by its elegant form and precise information on the offered services. We would like to congratulate all other Law Offices that won the remaining awards and that were honored.
   

August 		  During the XXXVI edition of the Seminar from the Computer Law Academy cycle : “The software protection in the law and business practice”, which took place on the 27th August 2009 in Warsaw, dr. Marek Bukowski has given a lecture on: “Traps of license agreements – accordance of the certain clause of the license agreements with the polish legal system”. The seminar was organized by the Center of the Informatique Promotion Sp. z o.o.
   

August 		  During the XV edition of the Seminar from the Digitalization cycle: “The legal aspects of the digitalization and virtualization of the museum collections, galleries, archives and other cultural institutions”, held on 26th August, 2009 in Warsaw, organized by the Center of the Informatique Promotion Sp. z o.o., dr. Marek Bukowski has given a lecture on the subject of the methods of acquiring copyright laws taking into consideration the specific character of the functioning of institutions popularizing culture and knowledge.
   

July 		  During the XXXV edition of the Semina from the Computer Law Academy cycle – “The legal and tax conditionings of the publishing industry”, held on 23rd July, 2009 organized by the Center of the Informatique Promotion Sp. z o.o., advocate Agnieszka Malczewska has given a lecture on “The tax aspects of the copyright law transactions”.
   

June 		  During the workshops „Copyright law in the new technology era”, held on 22-23rd June, 2009 organized by Informedia Poland, dr. Marek Bukowski has given a lecture on: “The use of the Works in the teleinformatique network. The provider and the recipient responsibility, as well as the responsibility of the intermediary.”
   

April 		  On 20-23rd April 2009 Fourth Polish Integration Forum „Television, telephone, Internet” was held in Pułtusk. Our law firm was invited to run conference panel “Legal situation of cable television operators in relation to collective management organizations with respect to the current jurisdiction and draft novel of the copyright act”. The lecture on behalf of our law firm was given by dr. Marek Bukowski, who also led panel discussion afterwards.
   

March 		  We are pleased to inform that in ranking of the best Polish law firms published by „Home & Market” monthly our company has been awarded 15th position.
   

February 		 

During the conference on amendment of law on copyrights which has taken place in Warsaw between 3-4th February 2009, organized by Cooper Conferences, dr. Marek Bukowski has given a lecture on models of development of royalties tables in relation to collective management proposed in draft amendment of Act on Copyrights and Neighboring Rights.
