Conference of the Partners of the Programme of Rights Protection Cooperation
 
On May 13th in Poznan Partner Program WOP Conference organized by QXL Poland / brand Allegro/ was held. During the conference Mr Marek Bukowski led a lecture on "Internet Auction portals – are they only an "electronic marketplace ".
The lecture covered the issue of the liability of the internet auction portals for infringements of intellectual property rights in light of the judgments in the United States, Europe and amendment to the Law on electronic services and limits to the involvement of auction sites in the fight against "counterfeit".IEC

On April 12th-15th in Ryna the Polish Forum of cable operators-TEL FOR 2010 under the patronage of the President of KRRiT took place.
One of the main points of the conference was a panel discussion: Amendment of the Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights - a new opening or continuation of, opportunities or threats?
The partner of our Law office dr Marek Bukowski was invited as an expert to participate in the panel and deliver an introducing lecture.

On March 16th-17th in Businessman Institute in Warsaw, a workshop on "Copyright and related rights under the amendment to the Law" took place, organized by MM Conferences. Our Law Firm was represented by Dr. Marek Bukowski, who gave a lecture on "Eligibility for compensation for the exploitation of the audiovisual work."
